Pricing Policy



Our pricing system is more complicated than that of most other introduction agencies. It is designed to reflect and be commensurate with the service we provide.


Our service has 3 components:


  • We identify and gather into one location information about Latin women who are seriously interested in meeting North American and European men for marriage.

  • We assess the information about the women members to assure its relevance and accuracy, and monitor the information to ensure it is current.

  • We attract women members whom men are especially interested in meeting.


Our pricing reflects these service components in the following manner:



Subscription:


To view the women’s profiles, a man must subscribe to the agency. With a username and password, the man, now a member, can view the detailed profile information and photos for the period of time for which he subscribed. He is also eligible to order contact information for the duration of his subscription.


The subscription price will change periodically, rising to reflect the higher costs of bandwidth as more women’s profiles are uploaded and accessed by men members, and the higher costs of maintaining the accuracy and currency of the profile information as more women become members.



Contact Information Purchases:


After man has selected the women he would like to contact, he can order their contact information; postal address and email address. Like most other agencies we offer volume discounts. The per unit address price declines with the number ordered.


The address price structure change will from time to time in response to changes in the industry and the prices of competing agencies.



Price Adjustment Factor (PAF):


Some women in introduction agencies receive very little attention from foreign men, perhaps 5 or 6 letters or meeting requests in an entire year. Other women receive far more attention than they can manage, 1,000 or more letters and meeting requests in less than 3 months! Unfortunately, the vast majority of men using introduction agencies are extremely unlikely to receive responses from women who get so swamped so quickly with letters. Even more unfortunately, these same men very often do not recognize, and therefore do not contact, the women who are very available.


As is logical, the women who receive huge amounts of attention from foreign men are those who are younger, slimmer, prettier, never married, and with no children. The women who receive less attention are those who are older, plumper, plainer, divorced, and with 2 or more children.


In striving to meet our mission of providing the most satisfying international introduction experience available, we have decided to try to reduce the number of contact information requests for those women whose demographics suggest they will be extremely popular, and raise the number of contact information requests for those women whose demographics suggest they will be relatively less popular.


We achieve this by assigning a Price Adjustment Factor (PAF) to each profile. The PAF is based on her demographic information and photos. In general, women under 30 years of age will have a higher PAF than women over 30; women with no children will have a higher PAF than women with 1 child, who in turn will have a higher PAF than women with 2 children, and so on; women who have a moderate weight for height will have a higher PAF than women with a high weight to height. Though very subjective, women who appear very attractive in their photos, based on North American and European standards of physical attractiveness, will have a higher PAF than less attractive women.


The PAF serves to adjust the contact information price to reflect a women’s potential popularity. The subjectively determined “average popularity” is assigned a PAF of 1. Above average popularity will have a PAF greater than 1 and will increase the price of her contact information. Below average popularity will have a PAF less than 1 and will decrease the price of her contact information. The PAF for an individual woman can change frequently based on the rate of “hits” on her profile. It will (usually) decline as her popularity fades over the time she has been with the agency.


For the women, the benefit is that the more popular women will receive a smaller, more manageable, number of contacts, while the less popular women will receive a larger, more encouraging, number of contacts. For the men, the benefit is they will be contacting women who are better able or more inclined to respond to his contact. That means that his time, effort, and money is much better spent.



Example Computation of Order Cost:


Consider the following hypothetical pricing structure for contact information.


$10 each for the first 5 profiles; $5 each for the next 10 profiles; $3 each for the next 15 profiles; and $1.50 for each subsequent profile. A member orders 25 profile contacts of which 3 have a PAF of 2.0, 2 have a PAF of 1.5, 10 have a PAF of 1.0, 5 have a PAF of 0.5, and 5 have a PAF of 0.2.


First, the profiles are ranked by PAF from highest to lowest. The price for each tier then multiplied by the PAF for each profile to yield the cost for each profile. The profile costs are then summed to yield the order cost.
